The Prior Park College assessment

The Prior Park College Quest assessment is computer-based.

11+ entry

5 subjects over 85 minutes:

  • English (30 minutes)
  • Maths (20 minutes)
  • Non-Verbal Reasoning (10 minutes)
  • Puzzles and Problem Solving (15 minutes)
  • Verbal Reasoning (10 minutes)

Sections are largely multiple choice and do not require typing or keyboard skills. Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning adapt in difficulty based on your child's answers. English and Puzzles and Problem Solving are fixed difficulty.

12+, 13+ and 14+ entry

2 subjects over 35 minutes:

  • Maths (20 minutes)
  • Puzzles and Problem Solving (15 minutes)

Sections are largely multiple choice and do not require typing or keyboard skills. Maths adapts in difficulty based on your child's answers. Puzzles and Problem Solving is fixed difficulty.

15+ and 16+ entry

1 subject over 20 minutes:

  • Maths (20 minutes)

Sections are largely multiple choice and do not require typing or keyboard skills. All sections adapt in difficulty based on your child's answers.

11+ key dates (September 2027 entry)

  • Closing date for applications: 23 November 2026
  • 11+ entrance assessments: 15 Jan 2026
